I trained at the Bristol School of Physiotherapy from 1981 - 1984.
On qualifying, I remained in the West Country, working initially as a Junior Physiotherapist, followed by a part time Senior Physiotherapist in Musculoskeletal Outpatients, at Yeovil District Hospital.
I joined the Glencairn Physiotherapy Practice part time in 1988, initially to expand my knowledge of sports and acute injuries. Over the years I have developed a particular interest in treating lower limb musculoskeletal conditions.
In 2001, I also started working part time for Somerset PCT, initially as a senior 1 physiotherapist, now focusing on the treatment of upper limb conditions, including hands.
I successfully completed an X-Ray requesting and interpreting course in 2008 and the Orthopaedic Medicine peripheral module in 2009.
