Faith Tait
Faith left her life as a Higher Education lecturer in Social Philosophy and Communication in 1987 to set up a training company in personal and professional development. Immediately in her career she witnessed over and over again the truth that our inner communication – what we privately tell ourselves about our beliefs, worth and abilities – will either help us towards success and happiness or block it.
In the early 90s she discovered and studied the strengths of *NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) for handling and improving both inner and outer communication: overcoming blocks, leaving out-dated and unhealthy habits behind, making good choices and forming fresh and sustainable futures.
Since then she has put these strengths to work in one-to-one sessions in both Hypnotherapy and Coaching and her clients are from all walks of life. Faith moved to Sherborne in November 2010 and now offers these sessions and related workshops at Glencairn House.
For the corporate and business world she continues her training and coaching in communication expertise such as presentations, public speaking and networking, again using NLP. Here her clients are from large and small businesses and the public sector such the NHS, local authorities, the education services and the Westminster Federation for Democracy in Kosovo.
She carries out practical projects such as how to improve the engagement and therefore the enjoyment of primary school children in their learning, and for voluntary organisations, how to engage and keep volunteers. She writes articles and ebooks and welcomes the opportunity to give talks about any of these areas.
